Not sure why but someone has snapped (not cut) these two newly planted trees on Aughton Road. Why? What’s the point?

A lot of Ferals roaming Southport these days, Not so Proud Parenting?
Someone dug a newly planted one up on Guildford Rd a few months ago
No discipline at home and certainly not at school if some of the ex teachers on here are anything to go by. Too busy teaching them everything their parents don’t want teaching and pushing their political views . When they see the violence and destruction at some of the protests the children watching think this is normal and okay.
I don’t dispute children now a days are undisciplined and it’s the parents fault but I do find it funny the ones complaining and saying they are undisciplined are the parents of this generation… or is there a collective belief that you raised your kids right but everyone else didn’t
Disgrace , I live on Aughton Road , why , was hoping someone would have ring doorbell footage of someone’s little cherubs in the act.
I’d happily pay towards replacement trees
Are you sure they were snapped off and not damaged in the bad winds we had the other week, there's a few on Liverpool Road that were damaged in thw wind
Because they are idiots and don't give 2 Hoots about anything or anyone.. sadly all too common

I called at a house along there a couple of days ago and they were not broken then - my guess is that it happened on Friday or Saturday. 10/11th May.

I know what they should snap, the part between the head and torso of the cupid stunts that have damaged the saplings,as there is NO DISCIPLINE at home, and no respect for anyone,or anything, and if it is'nt locked they'll take it,the kids of today look at you as though you are something they've trodden in..And what happens if they were caught, what would the council or the police do ? Slap them on the wrists, and tell them not to do it again...And IF these louts are caught, then their parents should be liable for the damage, and the repairs to reinstate the young saplings..Plus pay an extra £50 to the suppliers of these tree replacements...Trees give life to humans,as they breath the carbon in,and then give oxygen out,the MORE trees that are planted, and live for 30-50+ yrs the better for the next generation...Obviously they don't teach Rural Science at schools,as they must have stopped those lessons in the late seventies to mid eighties ?

Sorry, have been broken more than likely by fools who can't take their liquor.
Also it's been questioned as to it being something to do with persons sexual inadequacy.
You'll also find each tree will be costing in excess of well over
£100 owing to labour costs etc .Shame really, 6 years ago we had some pratt
letting his dog mess on the pavement and not clean up after it. So
I parked my car up and and arranged my dash cam to watch the pavement.
I'd had it modified to work on a movement detector. 3 days later.
    Result. Sent video to council.

Why were they planted on the pavement in the first place?

Do councils never learn? all that will happen when these trees mature is damaged pavements, kerbstones and roadways - as well as damage to subterranean facilities such as cabling and drains. Yet, they still keep doing it.

The council can't fix anything, nor can they efficiently manage the subconractors they contract to complete these jobs.

Go to any street with trees growing out of pavements and you'll find a whole host of issues with the infrastructure that the council can't or won't manage properly.

Where do you suggest they plant them given their invaluable contribution to reducing pollution?

‘Trees around roads have the prime benefit of pollution removal, collecting pollutants on the surfaces of leaves and bark. Hedges and shrubs are lower to the source – vehicle exhausts – however a mixture of trees, hedges and shrubs give the best result, acting as a great buffer for collecting pollution.’

There are new trees planted all along Aughton Road, but only two trees were targeted outside one pair of houses, where as a random coincidence, one house displays wooden artwork made of small tree branches.
